Approaching the necklace from another point of view: what makes sense hanging from a chain?  The answer to this question grew into a dynamic series of pieces of silhouette jewelry called the "Hangin' Out" Collection.  This playful member of the group portrays a young boy perched atop a tire swing.  He's having a wonderful time as he hangs from the chain, his head back as his feel soar toward the sky.

Each piece is laser-cut from amber-colored 3mm thick bamboo and hung on a sterling silver chain with a lobster clasp.  The total length is about 16". The bamboo portion is about 2.5" tall and treated only with natural oil.
