Approaching the necklace from another point of view: what makes sense hanging from a chain?  The answer to this question grew into a dynamic series of pieces of jewelry called the "Hangin' Out" Collection.  The original member of the group is this adorable girl standing on a swing.  It brings to mind the joy of childhood.  We remember standing on that swing despite what mom and dad said, feeling the wind blow our hair, holding tight to the rope or chain with the knowledge that the swing may cease to support our feet at any moment.

Each piece is laser-cut from amber-colored 3mm thick bamboo and hung on a series of sterling silver chains.  The total length is about 16" and the sterling silver chain has a lobster clasp. The bamboo portion is about 2.5" tall and treated only with natural oil.
