The symmetries to be found in nature go beyond the typical leaf-and-flower designs. This series of laser-cut bamboo jewelry is inspired by radial symmetries found by slicing various types of fruits and vegetables.  At first you may only see a tiny star cut from the center of a circle, but if you look a little longer, you might remember the first time you cut an apple across the middle and discovered that even the core of an apple has a tiny treasure to offer.

Each slice is approximately 1" wide.  They are laser cut from 3mm thick bamboo and hang on a 16" sterling silver chain with a lobster clasp.  Bamboo is treated with natural oil.
